Terms of Service
Short version: use Kiwi Bot to moderate your community, do not abuse it, and understand that it is provided free and without warranty.
Last updated: 18 July 2026
Agreement
By adding Kiwi Bot to a Discord server, or by using any of its commands, you agree to these terms. If you add the bot on behalf of a server, you confirm you have permission to do so and you accept these terms for that server. If you do not agree, remove the bot and stop using it.
The service
Kiwi Bot is a Discord bot providing moderation commands, listed on the commands page. It is provided free of charge. Features may be added, changed, or removed, and the bot may be offline for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons outside our control such as a Discord outage.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the bot to harass, threaten, defame, or target any person or group
- use it to break Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, or any law that applies to you
- attempt to overload, spam, rate limit, reverse engineer, or otherwise disrupt the bot or the server it runs on
- use it to collect information about people for purposes unrelated to moderating your own community
- resell access to the bot or present it as your own product
Your responsibilities as a server operator
Moderation actions are taken by your moderators, not by us. You are responsible for who you grant Discord permissions to, for the reasons your team writes into warnings and bans, and for telling your members that a moderation bot with a persistent warning log is in use. Reason text is stored, so ask your moderators to keep it factual.
Data
What the bot stores, and how to have it deleted, is set out in full in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Availability and no warranty
The bot is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted operation. We do not guarantee that it will be online, that commands will succeed, or that stored data will never be lost. Keep your own records of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost members, or lost revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the bot. This holds whether the claim is in contract, tort, or otherwise.
Suspension and termination
We may remove the bot from a server, or block a server or user from using it, at our discretion, particularly where these terms are being broken or where use is threatening the stability of the service. You may end this agreement at any time by removing the bot from your server.
Changes
These terms may be updated. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date at the top of the page, and continued use after that date means you accept the revised terms.
